We have noticed a significant change since Sarah & Nathan started here. They have more confidence and they are starting to open up to others. Nathan has show leadership qualities and set goals for himself. I am very proud of the changes I have seen in both of them. we owe it all to American Kenpo Karate. Thank you

All the instructors at the school are really great. The instructors know what they are doing and they put all they have for the students. My kids have learned some great life skills. Not only have they learned self defense, but they are being taught discipline and self control. In only 3 months at the school, I can see a drastic improvement in all 3 of my kids' self confidence. This School is top notch!

I often say to my family and myself that joining the American Martial Arts Systems was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I came to the school wanting to learn how to defend myself and also with the hopes of getting into better physical shape from the workouts. What I have gained is so much more than I could have ever hoped for. All the instructors' made me feel very comfortable during my first few classes. Since then, I have gained immense confidence in my ability to defend myself, I have definitely improved my health and well being through the workouts, and I have never felt more focused in my life. Since joining, I have lost two pant sizes and am able to touch my toes, which I haven't been able to do in over 12 years.
There is also one remarkable benefit that I did not anticipate, and that is having the opportunity to be a part of a great community at our school. I have met so many incredible people at all walks of life that have a passion to learn and grow with me on my journey in martial arts.
The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and patient. I've never been made to feel incompetent or put down because I don't know something. On the contrary, I am often inspired to push myself far beyond what I thought I was capable of because I want to be as good as they are. Every instructor at the school is passionate about their training and is there because they want to share what they know. They are all amazing and I feel so incredibly lucky to have the opportunity to train with each of them.
The best part of training with the American Martial Arts Systems is that there is and always will be so much to learn, and I look forward to each and every visit to the school. It will be a part of me for the rest of my life.

My husband and I wanted our children to learn martial arts to give them tools against bullies. What we got was so much more. My kids have developed self confidence which has made a difference in their school work and their life. We are still working on self discipline and focus but one thing at a time. We have all enjoyed the time we have spent at karate and two years later, I still like watching the kids learn new techniques and forms. I have especially liked watching my daughter do pushups on her knuckles! Not bad for a girl!

Some of my favorite things about this school besides the self-defense training are the fitness, flexibility and body awareness I've learned from it. I like to challenge myself, and every time I come to class I know I am going to be challenged at least a little bit more then last time. Intellectually, physically or spiritually sometimes on every level. There is an unlimited amount of room for growth. It has helped me on many levels

I appreciate everything the American Martial Arts School has done for me and my two daughters. I see a big difference in our confidence, as well as in my oldest daughters coordination. Her fine motor skills were affected by chemotherapy, but now she moves much more smoothly, even in her everyday life. Martial Arts are a great thing for Women of all ages.

We started our children in American Martial Arts School to help build their confidence, and healthy bodies. They have gained much more then that at this school.
Their physical coordination has increased. They have gained a sense of accomplishment. They learn how to handle confrontation. They learn the values of doing what is right rather than what is easy and to respect themselves as well as others. And they have learned what it means to work for something you want. Here, they are part of the family of kids who support and help each other grow and learn. We couldn't be happier with their progress.

We are glad to have two sons ages 14 and 11 and a daughter; 8, A part of American Martial Arts and the black belt program. They are learning self-defense while gaining many added benefits. They are growing in confidence and self-assurance. They are learning to have respect for themselves while respecting others. As parents, we want the leaders of tomorrow to be well equipped and we believe American Martial Arts to be a wonderful compliment to this goal.

My granddaughters came to live with me after the death of their mother three years ago. This was a difficult situation for them. as they had to move across states, to different houses, schools, friends, etc., while they were grieving for their mother.
I enrolled them in your school to learn self-defense in hopes that they would learn to take care of themselves, as I believe every child should learn how to defend herself or himself in this day and age. In the past two years, I have been pleasantly delighted by the self discipline you have taught them as well as the self-defense. You have taught them to be responsible, respectful, and to "Do their best" in all situations. They have gained confidence that will keep them moving forward for a lifetime, self control that will help them with any challenge they come up against in the future, and a respect for all people of the world.
I am taking this opportunity to thank you and tell you how very grateful I am to you and American Martial Arts. The cooperation and nurturing you have shown have made a huge difference in Amanda and Lailahni's lives and will definitely point them in the right direction for their future.

Since my children have started classes at American Martial Arts School there have been quite a few changes, more discipline and respect at home and at school. Within six months they have all went from 2's (below average) to 4's (exceptional). For my son that was a monumental success, he has A.D.H.D. he was excused from almost every class. We have taken him off of the medication for the summer and he is doing well now. The focus, discipline and self control he has learned in karate has made us believe he will be able to return to school in the fall without med's. For that I want to thank all of the wonderful instructors at A.M.A.S.Sincerely

Dear Tyler and Tina, My wife and I just want to extend a letter of thanks for all that you have done for our children and our family. Both my daughters, Briana age 6 and Amber age 3 are part of your program, and i have seen some great changes in there behavior as well as their discipline. They show an increase in self-esteem and self-discipline which are both important parts of growing up to be successful adults. As a teacher, I see children that lack both of these things and as a result are having trouble in school, their home lives, and life in general. As you know, I pride myself in being a teacher and advocate for children and would not recommend something unless I truly felt it was best for children. Your program is that and more!! Your instructors teach not only discipline and self-control, but they teach compassion and caring as well. You make students and families feel like they truly matter in your school. I feel so strong about this program and its effectiveness that I myself have started taking classes and find my own self-esteem and discipline getting better. Once again, we thank you for all you do and we hope to continue to be a part of your AMAS family for sometime. Regards
